I wish they’d released a PAL version rather than just an NTSC version of this format. But I would like to know where I can find a Dtheater machine and a few movie so I can take a look, I live in australia so is there any sites that sell a second hand one these internationally? By the way, does it look anything like HDV?

I think it would be …
I think it would be a good idea if we could get DVD collections of video demos. I mean those that would show the quality of various video formats (i.e., Super VHS, D-VHS, Super Beta, ED Beta, Video 8, Hi-8, Laser Discs, etc.). The first HDTV demos outa be included. There are such demos posted here on YouTube. Notice how many people are getting HDTVs these days (I got my first one in April 2008). Most of the demos would have lower resolution than an HDTV but may still look great.
