when she asked why cant we have 2 formats he was saying because it would be confusing, but he forgets while the battle was on for hd vs blu-ray they didnt mind selling both formats lol so what the guy said didnt make sense in fact he just proofs that this is brainwashing us.

its always nice with standards, electricity, information protocols, laws and languages, operation systems and so on.. it would be closer to utopia if there could be a best format and more money where spent on making good content instead

I personally wonder …
I personally wonder why there should be only one format.Whats wrong with having multi format anyway? We dont just drive one particular brand of car.Or wear only one brand of clothing.I think that to have only one format limits the market and the consumer will be the loser in the end

I think HD DVD has a lot of good movies, but if you don’t find the movies you are looking for, then yes…you can do that. But what I believe is that all movies should be made for both formats and definitely HD DVD as it offers so much interactivity and combo DVD’s =)

HD DVD is just the …
HD DVD is just the better choice for the consumer, it’s cheaper, region-free, has more features and it’s ready to use (no different unfinished versions). Sony payed Warner and Fox a lot of money to stop backing HD DVD and before they were planning about going HD DVD exclusive…that is why Sony payed them. There is nothing to gain if you buy Blu-Ray…

You obviously need …
You obviously need new equipment. Can’t comment specifically on SH3, some transfers aren’t done as well as others, but 99.9% of Blu-ray discs will blow SD DVD’s off the screen.
